Aerosan designs, builds and operates modern, clean, Smart public toilets in crowded urban areas of the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal. Each toilet features and in-situ anaerobic digester – ranging from 5-15 M3 – which processes human waste into biogas (used in adjacent cafes) and organic fertiliser. To date we are operating 8 digesters, with a further 8 to be built in 2025.
