Palletised food waste is more problematic to process at AD plants due to the volume of packaging and requirement for more manual labour. Think 3e Consortium offer a bespoke solution to deal with these food waste streams and have enabled Olleco to expand its food waste treatment services to its customers in the last 5 years by offering palletised food waste collections. Furthermore their ability to empty food waste from other receptacles and offer washing solutions has enabled the food manufacturing and hospitality sector to segregate food waste and achieve zero to landfill. Think3e bulk and transport all of Olleco’s food waste to Olleco’s AD facilities and the partnership enables a reduction in road miles travelled and less contamination of packaging and disposal from AD.
