The Biolectric mono-digester offers a unique solution to reduce 82% of the CO2 emissions that are emitted by cow manure. Only the cow manure on the farm is needed to produce electricity and heat which can be used on the farm and in the private residence. This whole process takes place on a farm-scale level, thus eliminating the need for heavy transport to a central location. The digestate, which gets created after the fermentation process, can be used as an effective fertilizer. Given the high prices of artificial fertilizer this is another way for the farmer to save some costs. With more than 350 installations built in Europe, this solution has already a proven track record as well.
