Bio: Dr Amaya Arias-García has been working in the field of anaerobic digestion for nearly 20 years, supporting projects across Europe and beyond. She runs an independent consultancy, Arias Consultants, where she provides hands-on technical and operational support to biogas and biomethane projects. Amaya also works as Chief Operating Officer at Heygaz Biomethane, a European platform involved in both the development and operation of biogas plants. With a background in process engineering and a strong focus on safety and risk management, she particularly enjoys working closely with operational teams to build confidence, strengthen day-to-day practices, and support practical problem-solving on site.
